Robert "Bob" Montgomery, 86, of East Norriton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026. Born on April 1, 1940, in New Holland, Pennsylvania, Bob lived a life filled with dedication, adventure, and love.

Bob proudly served as a firefighter in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to protecting others and leaving a lasting impact on the community he served. After retiring from firefighting, he pursued his passion for the water by owning and operating Rockhold Creek Marina in Deale, Maryland. His work reflected his deep connection to both service and the sea.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Linda Montgomery; his daughter Jill Crofoot (Luke); his son R. Michael Montgomery (Linda); and his cherished granddaughters Taylor Crofoot (Chris) and Brooke Waters (Mike). He also leaves behind his great-grandson Colin Waters; his sister Phyllis Stadel; his brother William Montgomery (Linda); and his sister in law Vicky Jenkins, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Annabel Montgomery.

Throughout his life, Bob found joy in sailing and RVing. With an adventurous spirit that inspired those around him, he explored the United States, Canada, The Maritimes and Mexico. Whether navigating open waters or traveling scenic roads in his RV, Bob embraced life’s journey with enthusiasm and a sense of wonder.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Bob’s memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

May his legacy of love and adventure bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
