Obituary of Anthony J. Casselli Jr

Anthony James Casselli, Jr. (“Tony,” also affectionely known as “Butch” to his family and friends) of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026 at the age of 84.

He was preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Barbara Ann Talarico, who passed away in 2019. Later in life, Tony found love again and married Angelina McGarry.

Tony is survived by his wife, Angelina; his sons, Anthony J. Casselli, III (Patricia) and Mario Casselli; his cherished grandchildren, Samantha Casselli Yurick (Nicholas), Anthony G. Casselli (Kelsey), and Catherine Casselli Dubyk (Matthew); and his precious great-grandchildren, Lily Mae Yurick, Theodore Anthony Dubyk, and Frances Casselli.

Tony was the dear brother of Dolly Luke Myers, and the late Mary Murphy, Angelo Casselli, and Patrick Casselli.

A proud United States Army veteran, Tony served his country with distinction during the Vietnam War. Beyond his military service, he had a deep passion for music and was a gifted jazz drummer whose rhythm and passion brought joy to all who heard him play. Above all, Tony cherished time spent with his family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and music.

A memorial service honoring Tony’s life and service will take place on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:00am in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
