John J. Quirk Sr. , age 78 of Phila. PA, died Friday (11/4) in the Rivers Edge Rehab. Center
He was a retired Carpenter For Cunningham Bros.
Mr. Quirk was born in Schuylkill, PA, the son of the late Harry and the late Margaret Egan Quirk.
Husband of the late Peggy (Bauer) Quirk .
John served our country during the Korean was in the U.S. Army.
John was a carpenter by trade and had worked for over 25 yrs. with Cunningham Brothers.
John loved cars and enjoyed auto racing also. Before his illness John could often be found at area car shows and watching auto races.
He is survived by
one son: John J. Quirk Jr. (Lisa)
one sister: Marge (Steve)
three brothers: Harry (Carol), Paul (Lillian), Joe (Joanne)
Companion, Liz Brown of Phila., PA; stepson, Dan Brown (Carol); stepdaughter, Eileen DePaul (Tony); and sister in law, Mary. 5 Grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter.
Friends may call Monday 11/ 7 from 6-8pm at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA..
Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 pm
Burial will be private.
In leiu of flowers-Mass cards are preferred.
