Obituary of Marian Nagy

Marian (Fulton) Nagy, age 85 of Lafayette Hill formerly of Monongahela PA, died Tuesday (2/14) in the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Lafayette Hill. She was a retired bookkeeper and Accountant for Alfred Appliances, Gene Longs Insurance Co. and the Detroit Herald Sun Times along with the Consolidated Coal Co. in Library,Pa. Mrs. Nagy was born in Fayette City, PA, the daughter of the late Charles and the late Pearl Laird Fulton. Wife of the late John S. Nagy. She was a graduate of the Detroit School of Commerce. Mrs. Nagy was a member of the Messiah United Methodist Church in Lafayette Hill. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church Monongahela Pa. and the Trinity Methodist Church in McMurray,Pa.She also was a member of the Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center Womens Auxillary in South Bend,IN and the Cannonsburg General Hospital Volunteer Womens Auxillary in Cannonsburg,Pa. Marian was known by her friends and family as an avid gardener of vegetables and flowers , bingo player and very much enjoyed spending time at the beach in the summer time. She is survived by two daughters: Bonnie Hodgson (Bob) of Harrisburg, PA, Cindy Perecko (Gary) of Lafayette Hill, PA 6 Grandchildren-Kelley Giannetti, Dennis and Bob Hodgson, Marie Occhiogrosso, Monica McMullen and Megan Perecko. Also 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 4 siblings. Friends may call Thursday 2/16/2012 from 4-6pm at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA..
