Marguerite L.(Loughrey) "Margee" Stout, age 84 of Gwynedd formerly of Lafayette Hill died Tuesday (9/18) at her residence at Foulkeways.
She was a retired Legal Secretary and home maker.
Mrs. Stout was born in Phila., the daughter of the late William and the late Anna Hallinan Loughrey. Wife of the late Richard J. Stout who passed away in 1992.
Mrs. Stout was a graduate of the John W. Hallahan H.S. for Girls in Phila. along with the Katherine Gibbs Business School ,where she attended after raising her family.
Mrs. Stout was a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill.
She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed her traveling thru out the country and in Europe . Mrs. Stout also enjoyed summering at the Jersey Shore in Avalon with her family and also volunteered for many years at the Saint Josephs Villa in Flourtown.
She is survived by
six daughters: Celie Magee (Joe) of Plymouth Meeting, PA., Nancie (Anne) Stout of Sadsburyville, PA, Julie Behr (Chip) of Blue Bell, PA, Margee Stout Zamarripa (John) of Wellsville, MO, Maureen (Molly) Howe (Marty) of Havertown, PA, Kitty Nardi (Bob) of Havertown, PA
one son: The Reverend Bill Stout of Greenwood, Miss.
four sisters: Rita Gilson, Nora Grogan, Sally Kaiser, Anne Schneider
15 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandaughter.
Predeceased by siblings-Sister Mary Loughrey IHM and Julie Mangan, John and Bill Loughrey.
Friends may call Sunday 9/23 from 4-6PM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Monday 9/24 from 9:30-10:30am also at Church.
Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am Monday.
Burial will be in the Ressurection Cemetery, Bensalem.
