Obituary of John J. Piacentino Sr.

John J. "Jack" Piacentino Sr., age 80 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Wednesday (1/9) at his daughters home in Collegeville surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired Systems Analyst, for Computer Sciences Corp.in Mooretown,NJ. Mr. Piacentino Sr. was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late John and the late Lena Cichetti Piacentino. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War Conflict as a Staff Sergeant. . Mr. Piacentino was a graduate of the former Southeast Catholic High School in Phila. and Temple Univ. He also attended Villanova Univ. Jack was a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill and was a past President of the Whitemarsh Lions Club. His hobbies included gardening, music along with playing the piano. He also enjoyed vacationing with his family in Ocean City ,NJ. He is survived by his wife Antoinette (Gaspari ) Piacentino one daughter: Anne Marie Sheedy (Jim) of Collegeville, PA one son: John J. Piacentino (Federico) of Alexandria, VA one sister: Thelma Moliterno of Haddon Twp., NJ 2 grandaughters-Cara Anne and Mikayla Rose, Friends may call Saturday 1/12/2013 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Entombment will be in the George Washington Memorial Park, .
