Obituary of Nancy M. Liberato
Nancy M. Liberato (63) of Lafayette Hill, PA, formerly of South Philadelphia, passed away at her home on Monday, October 5th, 2020. She was born to George and Mary De Lisi on March 18, 1957.
She attended St. Maria Goretti High School and earned her undergraduate degree at Temple University. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling at Villanova University.
Nancy worked for the Municipal Court in Philadelphia and moved on to teaching at St. Philip Neri and St. Genevieve. She also did private family counseling. Her last employment was with Mass Mutual in Bala Cynwyd.
Nancy was married to her high school sweetheart, Anthony, for 40 years. They were residents of Lafayette Hill, PA for 21 years. She was the loving mother of two sons, Anthony David (daughter-in-law Christine) and Marc Joseph.
She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Fox (De Lisi), brother, George De Lisi, and eight loving nieces and nephews. She had many friends and loved them all.
Nancy loved painting, photography, and playing Scrabble. Family traditions were very important to her—especially the “7 fishes” dinner on Christmas Eve.
She had so much gratitude to all the doctors and nurses who showed kindness and compassion through the years.
