Obituary of Judith M. Young
Judith M. (Rinear) Young (77), passed away peacefully on November 29, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Michael, and their two daughters, Rachel Fassbender (Robert), and Amy McKeever (Anthony); four grandchildren, Grace, Evan, Caitlin, Bridget, and two younger brothers Kenneth and Stephen Rinear.
Born on December 2, 1943 to George and Mildred Rinear, she was raised in Northeast Philadelphia and graduated from Frankford High School. She went on to attend and graduate from Jefferson Hospital School of Nursing and immediately entered the field of obstetrics. She then furthered her education by receiving her B.S.N. at Gwynedd Mercy University, and M.S.N. at Villanova University. She then became a maternal child health nurse educator with Main Line Health and Villanova University.
Her passion for caregiving was evident in her enthusiastic spirit, larger than life personality, passion for engaging all, and gentle soul. She used her passion for caregiving to support and advocate for all individuals.
She adored her family and friends, particularly the role of mother and grandmother. She loved collecting antiques, hosting a good party, spending time with family and friends, traveling the world with her husband, and sitting on her porch at the seashore with her family.
