Mrs. Julia Sullivan was a woman of grace with a kind, loving heart. Cathy and I were friends in high school and Mrs. Sullivan befriended my aunt and me. She was truly a loving person and will always live on in my memories. May she rest in peace.

A beautiful funeral service. Loved Grace's eulogy, Mike's readings and the priest's memories of Aunt Julia at Loyola. Great to get get from afar, glimpses of Nora and the Dwyer family. Would so liked to have been with you all today.
I remember my dearest Aunt Julia telling me about her mother sending her out to help to a neighbour in need in Ower, and she a young teenager. She lost her mother a short time later but she carried that compassion for others with her for the rest of her life and passed in on to the next generation. She was great company and I will miss her so much. Amongst my best memories was sitting and chatting with her at her kitchen table at East 95th Street NY. Another pillar in my life gone. Rest in Peace.

Rest in peace our dearest Aunt Julia. Such a beautiful mass to celebrate her life, wonderful eulogy from Grace, beautiful singing and words from Mike.

Our darling aunt Julia put the sun into summer with her annual trip to Ower. As children we could hardly wait for her arrival at Shannon airport. Much joy and laughter was to be had with her presence. We were all so grateful and honoured to have had such a wonderful aunt and know that you will always be looking out for us. Here we are in our last time together at the reunion 2015. Sending much love and comfort to Cack, Mike, Grace, Nora and all our cousins Stateside. We shall miss her dearly. Margaret, Nathan and Jan

The last time I visited Loyola was. to attend an Alumni Dinner; I chatted with Chip Horne, Jim Dwyer and Steve Arikian. The true highlight was having a lovely conversation. with Julia. She was the soul of the school during my days teaching there in the 70's. I can hear Gene Prior. saying, "Indeed, she was".

Mrs Sullivan was a kind and patient soul with a great sense of humour. I remember fondly many moments in her office during my Loyola years. She was a wonderful gatekeeper for Fr Prior and I remember his regard for her. Thank you, Mrs Sullivan!

What a great loss, a wonderful lady who helped so many as we spent our 4 years as students of Loyola High School.
Countless times I was sent to Father Prior’s office for many a misunderstanding is how I saw it, and she always welcomed me, a most frequent visitor, with a smile and a sigh before sending me right into the Headmaster’s office.
She always asked about my sisters and my parents, and was a cornerstone who will always be remembered.

Some of my warmest and loveliest memories of Loyola are tied up with Mrs. Sullivan. Her Irish brogue always greeted us in the morning and she loved a quick chat! She kept us honest and nothing escaped her! For so many years after I graduated when I called Loyola for something it was Mrs. Sullivan who answered the phone asking after my family and how my own life was going. She helped make Loyola a family and she will be very missed!! My condolences to all who loved her.
