Dear Ed and Kathleen, I am so sorry for the loss of your son, Gavin. As a parent myself, I can't even begin to imagine how I would feel to have my son, at such an early age taken away in death. Although this is such a difficult time, I have found comfort and hope during circumstances like this, in John 5:28, 29 where it tells us that "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (meaning God's) and come out." How encouraging it is to know that we have the chance of seeing our dead loved ones, right here on earth! What a wonderful promise the bible fortells! I encourage the both of you, during this difficult time, to draw close to God in prayer and as brought out in Psalm 55:22 "and hehimself, (meaning God) will sustain you.
