Obituary of Mary Ann Christ

Mary Ann Christ, 73, of Worcester, PA, passed away on April 5, 2023. A funeral service will be held at St. Helena Church at 1489 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA, on Monday, April 10, at 11 a.m. The service can be livestreamed at https://www.sainthelena-centersquare.net/. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 199 E. Matsonford Rd., West Conshohocken, PA. Visitation will be held at St Helena Church on Monday, April 10 at 10 a.m. The Lownes Family Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Mary Ann was born in Philadelphia to Anne and Edward Christ on December 16, 1949. She attended Bishop Kenrick High School and went on to earn a R.N. from Chestnut Hill Hospital School of Nursing, a B.A. from Villanova University, and an M.B.A. from Widener University. Throughout her career, Mary Ann held positions as a nursing home administrator, health care consultant and director of human resources. She was deeply involved as a volunteer at St. Helena Church. 

Mary Ann is survived by her siblings Edward Christ (Roberta), Paul Christ (Caroline), Donna Celano (Michael), Michael Christ (Mary Anne), and Geralyn O’Neill (Ken) as well as her nieces and nephews:  Matthew Celano, Mark Christ, Daniel Celano, Tom Christ, Emily Christ, Ryan Christ, Katie Christ, Kelly Christ, Kyle Celano, Sean O’Neill, Patrick O’Neill, Kara Celano, Anna Christ, and Shannon O’Neill. She is preceded in death by her parents Anne and Edward Christ.
