Obituary of Joanne R Longshore

Joanne was born in Philadelphia to Anthony and Nerina Costantino on October 7, 1948. She grew up in the Tacony section of Philadelphia and went to high school at St. Hubert’s High School. Joanne worked as a paralegal for several years, before taking time off to care for her family. 

She met her husband, George at the jersey shore. They shared a love of the beach. They had many happy years spending summers in Ocean City with family where they made life-long friends. She was very involved in her daughter’s school and extracurricular activities. She was always there to help out friends and family when needed. Her favorite things to do were to spend time with her family, especially time spent on the beach in Ocean City. She also loved to travel with George. They had many fun trips with friends, including a trip to Italy. 

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Janelle Kilinski, (Joseph), granddaughters, Alexandra and Katarina, son-in-law James Flannery; grandsons, James and George; brother, Anthony Constantino (Eileen); and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Nerina Costantino; husband, George Longshore; daughter, Alicia Longshore Flannery, and brother, Joseph Costantino.

Funeral Mass Saturday February 10, 2024 at 11am from Saint Hilary of Poitiers Church- 820 Susquehanna Rd., Rydal,Pa.19046. Her viewing will be from 9:00-10:45 am also at the church.

Burial will take place after the mass at Lawnview Cemetery- Rockledge Pa.
