I always looked forward to our Sunday morning visits. We would begin our visit talking about what we did th previous week. We'd talk about his doctor and family visits. Sometimes we'd even discuss theology. We often discussed the week's news, both good and bad. He'd update me about the charity he was setting up that he hoped would offer an women an alternative to abortion.
His eyes would light up when I would share the details of my latest sailing trip. Sometimes we would share stories of our times at Villanova (25 years apart). We spent two hours one Sunday as he told me about his childhood and early adult life.
Our time together would always end with prayers together and Holy Communion for him. Every visit would end with him thanking me several times for bringing him the Eucharist.
He looked very frail he last time I saw him. I said to him that he had better perk up because I would be back the next Sunday with Communion. Before that next Sunday came, he joined Mary Sue and Jesus.
Sunday morning will not be the same without our visits. Rest in peace, Quentin.

Such a wonderful man. Uncle Monte was happy to fill the gaps after my father died at such a young age. I will miss our visits when we go back to Pennsylvania. He is with his lovely wife Mary Sue being held in the loving hands of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Rest in peace.. you will always have a special place in my heart… Love you and Mary Sue…..Craig and Pati…
