Obituary of Jacob C Fell

Jacob Conrad Fell, formerly of New Hope, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 15th at Peter Becker Community in Harleysville.  He was just six months short of his 100th birthday, which he was looking forward to celebrating. Jake lived most of his life in New Hope, except for six years in the Navy submarine service. He served as a borough councilman in New Hope for 34 years, and was known as “Mr. Public Works”.   He was a self employed carpenter and builder, and built my new homes in New Hope..  He was held in high esteem for his restoration of numerous New Hope homes and businesses.    He and his wife of 69 years Patricia (Fiss) Fell retired to Peter Becker Community in 2006 and enjoyed traveling together 

In addition to his wife Patricia he is survived by his nephew Edward G. Fiss and wife Patricia Williams, a niece Betty Jean Boyd/Eugene, and grand nephews and nieces.

A viewing will be held Thursday, March 21st at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Peter Becker Community followed a funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Interment to follow at Ivy Hill Cemetery

In Lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to the Peter Becker Benevolent Association, 800 Maple Ave, Harleysville PA 19438
