Born in Philadelphia to Helen and William H. Weber Sr., Bill graduated from Springfield High School. He found joy in cultivating beauty as a gardener for two prominent Philadelphia area estates: the Widener-Dixon estate and the Dorrance Hamilton estate.
In 1959, Bill found his lifelong partner, Patricia (Nolen) Weber. Together, they raised four children: William "Skip" III, Scott, Karl, and Karen.
Bill's life brimmed with hobbies and a zest for adventure. He was a regular at the Philadelphia Flower Show for 65 years, taking immense pride in his gardening expertise. Whether golfing, playing volleyball, biking, skiing, or jogging, Bill embraced an active lifestyle. He embarked on camping trips, soared through the skies in airplanes, raced around tracks in racecars and even celebrated milestone birthdays with skydiving!
Bill's greatest passion, however, was people. He cherished the friendships he built and nurtured throughout his life. His genuine warmth left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Predeceased by his wife Patricia, Bill is survived by his children: Skip (Bonnie) Weber of Riverview, FL, Scott (Teresa) Weber of Collegeville, PA, Karl (Andrea) Weber of Royersford, PA, and Karen (Sean) Dertinger of Bangor, PA, along with his eight grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5th, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of George Washington Memorial Park (Stenton Ave. & Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA).
A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place immediately following at George Washington Memorial Park.
