Obituary of Russell H. Harrison

Russell H. Harrison, age 85 of Roxborough , died Monday (7/8) at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired Expeditor employed by The U.S. Government Mr. Harrison was born in Phila.Pa. He was the son of the late Charles and the late Mary Waterson Harrison . Mr. Harrison was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps serving during WW 2 and the Korean Wars and was a graduate of Roxborough High School He was a member of the Oreland Evangelical Presbyterian Church along with the Roxborough Palestine Chapter of the Masonic Lodge #135 and the Hattal Taylor VFW Post #333. He also was a member of the 21st Ward Veterans of Phila. He is survived by his wife Betty (Trommer ) Harrison three daughters: Betty Jane Marshall (Rev.Glenn), Judith A. Romano (Michael), Diane M. Wynne (John) 4 Grandchildren-Jennifer (Devin), John III, Christopher and Ashley He is also survived by a neice and a nephew Friends may call Wednesday July, 10 from 6-8pm at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. and Thursday from 10-11am Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am A Veterans and Masonic service will take place on Wed. eve. Burial will be in the George Washington Memorial Park, . Contributions may be made to Alzheimers Assn. 399 Market St. Phila.Pa. 19106.
