Obituary of Michael E Baran

Michael Ernest Baran, beloved father, son, brother and friend, passed away on January 8, 2025. He was 47 years old.

Michael was a devoted father to his three children, Georgia, Colin and Stella. His love for them was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Born to Dr. Ernest and Kathleen Baran, Michael was the third of five siblings, who all shared a strong bond together. His parents, along with his brothers, sisters and close friends, played an integral role in his life, offering support, care, and shared memories that shaped him into the man his family knew and adored.

Michael’s presence in the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed. His kindness, sense of humor, charismatic nature and devotion to his family will leave an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his children, Georgia, Colin and Stella, his parents, Dr. Ernest and Kathy Baran, Courtney Baran, his four siblings, Keith, Jennifer, Christopher and Meghan, and many extended family and friends who will continue to honor his memory.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Friday, January 17 2025 at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania.  Visiting hours are 10 to 11:30 AM with a service and luncheon to follow.
