She was Secretary/treasurer for Penn Fishing Tackle And Mfg. Co.Phila.
Mrs. Henze was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Otto and the late Martha Haecker Henze.
Betty was a member of Saint Peter's Lutheran Church and the Whitemarsh Community Art Center along with the Allegheny West Foundation.
She is survived by
one son: Andrew R. Birardi of Lafayette Hill, PA.
one sister: Jo-Ann Leimberg of Amelia Island, FLA
one brother: Herbert Henze of Phila., PA
companion, Jim Thompson of Plymouth Meeting, PA.
predeceased by her brother Walter J. Henze.
