Patricia (Cunningham)"Trish" Murphy, 74 of Lafayette Hill Pa. died suddenly Sunday 10/27/2013 in the Chestnut Hill Hospital., She was a Home Maker and former First grade Teacher at Saint James Elementary School in Elkins Park.
Born in The Mount Airy section of Phila., she was the daughter of the late Charles P. and the late Catherine Wynne Cunningham.
Trish graduated the former Raven Hill Accademy in Phila. Saint Mary's College and received her Masters Degree from Chestnut Hill College in Elementary Education.
Her hobbies included Quilting, sewing and reading and volunteering at the William Jeanes Memorial Library in Lafayette Hill.
Trish will be sorely missed by her loving family and her friends.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years-Robert E.Murphy Sr.
one daughter: Maura M. Zimmerman (Wayne) of Horsham, pa.
three sons: Robert E. Murphy Jr.(Sharon) of Flourtown, PA., Martin C. Murphy of Minneapolis, Minn.., Charles W. Murphy of Lafayette Hill, PA
6 Grandcildren ,
She was the sister of the late Helen C. Roney.
Her Funeral mass will be held Thursday 10/31/13 at 11:00 am from the Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill . Interment will be private.
Friends may call Thursday from 10-11am at Church.
