Obituary of Barbara Ann Kenney

Barbara Ann Kenney, age 80 of Lafayette Hill Pa, died on Christmas Day Wednesday (12/25) at her home in Lafayette Hill, PA. She was a retired Legal Secretary, employed by Unisys Corp Mrs. Kenney was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late Francis C. and the late Winifred Crosland Bischoff. Mrs. Kenney was born and raised in the East Falls section of Phila. and was a graduate of Saint Bridget's grammer school and and was the May Queen in 1947 . She then graduated from The John W. Hallahan High School for Girls in 1951. Mrs. Kenney married her loving husband in 1955. She enjoyed traveling to Avalon NJ with her family and was an avid gardener and garage sale expert. Barbara was a member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill along with their Phillipians Social Group. . She is survived by her husband -Francis J. Kenney five daughters: Susan Kenney (Ray) of Folcroft, PA, Beth Norman (Ron) of Bristol, IN., Ann Melso (Marc) of Malvern, PA, Maureen Kenney (Everest) of San Francisco, CA, Barbara Giovinazzo (John) of Conshohocken, PA. four sisters: Winifred Sontag, Agnes Burns (Joseph), Patricia Proses (Charles), Mary Conway (Al) one brother: David Bischoff (Mary) 6 Grandcildren-Samantha,John,Miranda,Natalie,Mary Beth,Grace , She was predeceased by siblings- Joseph, Francis and Robert "Gus" Bischoff. Friends may call Monday 12/30 from 9:30-11 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be held privately at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Contributions may be made to The John W.
