Obituary of Linnea N. Zepf

Linnea Noel "Nene" Zepf, age 66 of Northfield NJ, died Wednesday (1/29/14) at her home in Northfield, NJ.surrounded by her loving family and cherished pets. She was a Social Worker , employed by Atlantic County Intergenerational Services Linnea "Nene" Zepf was born in Phila., during the blizzard of '47 and was the daughter of the late Carl and the late Virginia "Ginger"(Osterlund ) Zepf. Nene was raised in Cherry Hill,NJ and was a graduate of Cherry Hill West High School and Stockton College where she received her B.S. Degree in Political Science. She also attended The Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing Michigan and also attended Penn State Univ. While attending Law School she had worked for The Department of Natural Resources. Nene had also worked as a court administrator in Medford Lakes, Bass River , Washington Twp. and Ocean City,NJ. Nene also worked for over 25 years in the casino industry and at the end of her career she became floor supervisor. Nnen the started a family business with her 2 children and owned and operated The "Scoopwich" in Ventnor,NJ ,which was an upscale ice cream parlor and deli and most recently she worked as a social worker for The Atlantic County Intergenerational Services Dept. She is survived by one daughter: Dawn M. Joslin of Northfield, NJ one son: Charles M."Chip" Thompson of Northfield, NJ one sister: Leisa Ramsey (Eugene) of Arlington, VA Friends may call Saturday 2/15/2014 from 10-11am at Union Chapel By The Sea, 5501 Asbury Ave., Ocean City, NJ.
