Obituary of George A. Fair

George A. Fair Jr., age 86 of Plymouth Meeting PA., died Sunday (9/5) at his home surrounded by his family. He was a retired co-founder And Broker For Kelly Fair Insurance Agency located in Lafayette Hill,Conshohocken and Flourtown. Mr. Fair was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late George and the late Kathryn Nace Fair. Mr. Fair was a member of the Epiphany of our Lord Church in Plymouth Mtg. George was past president the Roxborough Kiwanas Club and was past Vice President of the Roxborough H.S. Alumni Assn. Graduate of Roxborough H.S.and attended Temple Univ. and Univ. of Penn. Wharton School of Business. George was a WW2 Veteran and Korean War Vet. serving in the Army as a Sergeant. He was an active golfer and was a former member of the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club and the Sandy Run C.C. Mr.Fair was also an active member of the William Bolton Dixon VFW Post #10. He was an avid sports fan also. He is survived by Marion (Standeven ) Fair one daughter: Patricia Fair of Plymouth Meeting, PA. four sons: David Fair of Worcester, PA, Robert Fair of Plymouth Meeting, PA., Paul Fair of Blue Bell, PA, John Fair of Sanatoga, PA one sister: Margaret Soda of Roxborough,Phila., PA **7 Grandchildren,1 Great Grand., Friends may call Friday 9/10/10 from 10-11am at Epiphany Of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA.. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am in the Epiphany Of Our Lord Church, Plymouth Meeting, Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion.
