Obituary of Marie B. Howells

Marie B. Howells, age 90 of Plymouth Meeting PA., died Thursday (9/4) in the Hillcrest Center ,Abington,Pa. She was a Retired Secretary, employed by Veteran Affairs and also had been secretary to the Chief of Data Systems Corp. from 1951-1967. Mrs. Howells was born in Phila., PA, the daughter of the late William and the late Marie Hug Bittel. Wife the late James C. Howells who died in 1994. Marie was a graduate of the former Saint Mary's Academy and Pierce Business College. She was a long time member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill and enjoyed playing Bridge and was an avid golfer. Marie was also very fond of animals especially her Boston Terrier dogs. She is survived by Niece, Betty Ann Bittel of Hammonton, NJ; niece, Susan Travis of Niagra Falls, NY She was predeceased by her brother William and George Bittel. . Her Funeral mass will be held Tuesday 9/9/2014 at 10:00 am in the Saint Philip Neri Church,437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, Pa. 19444 Burial will be in the George Washington Memorial Park, .
