Obituary of Mary H."Peggy" Lovejoy

Mary H. Peggy" (Thomas) Lovejoy, age 86, of Plymouth Meeting died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at The Sunrise Of Blue Bell . Mrs. Lovejoy was born October 9, 1928 in Plymouth Meeting, PA.. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Esther (MacDowell) Thomas. She was the wife of the late Roy B. Lovejoy who had passed in 1997.. . Mrs .Lovejoy was a former longtime member of Saint Jude and the Nativity Church in Lafayette Hill and had served on their Altar Guild for many years also. She also was a former member of the Calvary Episcopal Church in Conshohocken. She was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown. Mrs. Lovejoy was an avid golfer and was a former member of the Plymouth and Aronomick Country Clubs and she also enjoyed traveling. She will be sorely missed by her devoted family and many friends. She is survived by two daughters: Robin Lovejoy of Oaks, PA, Rebel Lovejoy of Plymouth Meeting, PA. and three sons: R. Thomas Lovejoy of Blacksburg, VA, Robert Lovejoy of Hampton, NH, Randall Lovejoy of Plymouth Meeting, PA. also survived by 7 Grandchildren And 1 Great Granddaughter.,. Her services and burial will be private . . Funeral arrangements are by the Lownes Family Funeral Home of Lafayette Hill. .
