Obituary of Thomas A. Beaty

Thomas A. Beaty, age 80, of Lafayette Hill died Monday, October 19, 2015 at University Of Penna. Hospice in Philadelphia. He was born October 20, 1934 in Phila., PA. He is the son of the late Terance and the late Mary (Kershaw) Beaty. He is the husband of Barbara (Cummings) Beaty Mr.Beaty was a Co-owner of The Ramloc Pile Fabric Co. In the Wayne Junction section of Phila.which was a family owned company founded by his father and Tom ran with his brothers following his fathers retirement. He was a graduate of the William Penn Charter High School Class of 1952 and also North Carolina State Univ. Class of 1956. Mr. Beaty served our Country as a Captain in the US Air Force. Tom was a member of the Sandy Run Country Club for over 38 years and was an avid golfer And he was faithful member of Saint Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill and was a former usher. Mr.Beaty will be sorely missed by his devoted family and many friends. He is survived by his wife: Barbara(Cummings) Beaty , his daughter: Carol Macrina (Dominic) of Aston, PA. and his son: T .Michael Beaty (Joanne) of Plymouth Meeting, PA.; ; ; 4 Grandchildren- Kristin, Kyle, Evan And Dayna,. Tom was predeceased by his brothers-Joseph, Terance and John. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, October 24 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham . Calling hours will be Saturday, October 24 from 9:30-11AM at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gift of Life Program 401 N. 3rd.St. Phila. Pa.19123.
