Once upon a time I met a family of six (soon to be seven) that moved to Linden, we all became friends in the closest way ever. I never had brothers and sisters to be close to so it meant a lot more to me than anyone new. On holidays and birthdays they let us join them, in those times will always remain etched in my memory. Three beautiful daughters, two handsome sons. Angel was the oldest maybe seven when I met her. She was an adorable child with her hair always fixed so cute. She later became my niece. After I met and married her uncle and I watched her grow into a strikingly gorgeous young woman. We never had harsh words if you didn't like and love her there was something wrong with you. She loved my deviled eggs and hated mayonnaise! LOL somewhere in this fairytale Angel was called away from us all maybe she was needed there more than here. I can still hear her say "Oh Sheri!" with her voice breaking. She left all of us wondering why but that's not really the true question. The question is when? When will we meet again? How? How will the ones who loved her do without her? The time will come before we know it. Once upon a time in our wildest dreams we will meet again until that day we will feel you when it rains, we will imagine you when the sun is brightest, and we will remember all the times you made us smile when we want to cry. Thankful for the time we had you selfish that we wanted more.
