Obituary of Angeline D. Hoopes

Angeline D "Lena". Hoopes, age 92, of Lafayette Hill, PA died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her home . Lena was born July 25, 1924 in Phila., PA. She is the daughter of the late Attilio and the late Caroline (Testone) Sciambi. She was the wife of the late William Hoopes who died in1992. She was a Department Manager for The Farm Journal Magazine where she worked for over 26 years. Mrs. Hoopes was a proud graduate of South Phila. Girls High School. For many years she volunteered for Saint Joseph's Villa in Flourtown and her church , Saint Philip Neri in Lafayette Hill,Pa. She will be sorely missed by her devoted family and her many friends. She is survived by two daughters: Barbara Hoopes of Andorra,Phila, Patricia Visintin (Mike) of Lafayette Hill, PA,.; Sister of : Setty Cirillo and Jeanne Rulli.Also survived by her 3 Grandchildren-Melissa, Pamela, David and 4 Great Grandchildren-Veda , Riya ,Will and Silas. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:30 am on Thursday, September 22 at Saint Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. . Burial will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton . Calling hours will be Thursday, September 22 from 10:30-11:30am at Church, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Joseph's Villa. 110 Wissahickon Ave. Flourtown,Pa.19031.
