Mark and Christine,
I worked with Mark (2011-2013) and know how proud you were of Tyler. Mark enjoyed telling stories of family trips and events that all of you shared.
Wordscan never come close to describing the sadness and missing you all must feel. I hope you can reminence about the great times you shared with Tyler and know that his spirit will always be with you.
Sincere Condolences
Charlie Mulhern

Me and Tyler were classmates at MCCC. Although I didn't know him extremely well, every encounter I had with him was positive. He was easy to get along with and a funny, genuine guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

Tyler was one of my closest friends during college. While he only stayed at Shippensburg university for a semester he touched a lot of lives and I was thankful enough to be one of them. To hear of his passing is tragic and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and everyone that knew him.

After today's service, my husband and I regretted not sharing one of our memories of Tyler.
We wanted to talk about his ease around children and their ease around Tyler. We met Tyler as the same moptop so many others described, and we watched our nephew grow into a hero.
He would talk to our kids like they were his peers. Even as a teenager, he always had time for our kids and when we faced hard times, he easily took the kids to distract them while the "adults" talked.
We also know this because he adored Alex, Abigail, and then, of course Stella. He told many stories about his siblings and was thrilled to be a big brother. We'll share stories about Tyler with these kids for the rest of our lives (including a few hilarious ones we remembered and the ones we heard from others today).

Tyler's mom and stepdad are great friends to my boyfriend and I, and I have not been able to stop thinking about Tyler and the whole family since I heard the news. Although I only met Tyler a handful of times, he made an impression on me. He was always polite, always friendly, always a gentleman, and always smiling. I feel as though I am still processing the news, and I can't begin to imagine the pain you are all feeling. I know that Christine and the Hall family were so proud of Tyler, and his loss has deeply effected all who knew him. I wish I knew the words to say. As asked by Tyler's family, I will hug someone I love today. And everyday.

Tyler came into my life as one of my daughter's friends after time together at an arts camp in late middle school. Tyler accepted her when she needed this so very much. Polite and appreciative. Sweet and funny. Crazy hair. And, to my chagrin, always scheming (sometimes successfully) to get her to dye her own hair black.
I am blessed to have crossed paths with this gentle soul. The goodness he brought to this earth lives on through his many acts of love and kindness.
My heartfelt condolences to his family at this sad time.

To know Tyler Foos is to know a wonderful, kind and amazing human being. To spend time with him brought joy, laughter and smiles to all around him. To be able to call him a friend is nothing short of a blessing. Tyler is truly someone we could all look up to and talk with about anything. He is a humble, smart and joyful person. I send my condolences and prayers to the Foos and Hall family; may his Light shine like the Sun to all of us.

I had the pleasure of watching Tyler grow into a beautiful young man; and must admit that when he was a child, he easily outsmarted me when I was babysitting, convincing me that of course his mom lets him have *2* large glasses of Coke. I remember trying, and failing, at teaching him how to rhyme; and telling him it’s OK not to eat brussels sprouts because they were gross. Christine, did not appreciate that.
The loss of Tyler ‘Spyro’ ‘Math’ cannot be understated and I wish I had better words to express just what he meant to everyone who knew him -but the fact is, there are no words that will ever come close to expressing what a nice, funny, beautiful person Tyler is.
My sincere condolences to Christine, Mark, Steven, Kim – his extended family and to all who knew and loved Tyler.

Mr. and Mrs. Foos, Mr. and Mrs. Hall, I cannot begin to imagine the pain you feel. Tyler was my nephew's best friend here in the Irwin area. I watched this young-man grow up with my nephew and his older brother. There were many times I'd wake up (when Tyler came back to the area to visit) I'd find him crashed on my couch when I lived with my nephews. I am so very sorry for this tremendous and unfair loss. My heart absolutely breaks for you. Tyler was wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Caring, funny, and intelligent. This world was much brighter with him in it, and now has gotten dimmer with him gone. I, myself am truly broken over his loss. I am praying for all of you; Family, extended family, and friends. Our "Foos" will be sorely missed. God be with you all. And God-Speed Tyler. We love you kiddo.

I can only imagine how it feels to loose a child and even that is almost overwhelming. I know this young man as your sister-in-law's, April father. We have spent time at several family events. That is not a lot of time but more than enough for Tyler to make a beautiful impression. Friendly, polite and mature project an image to be proud of, however this young man went beyond. I saw him with my grandchildren, among others, and this age difference doesn't always work. They loved Tyler and he was great with them. He gave them attention, smiles and fun. I asked Mark about Tyler at Lilly's birthday at Linvilla. Tyler was working at couldn't be there. You could see and hear the pride that his parents felt.
I can't find the words to lesson your loss. I just want you to know Tyler was a son to be proud of as both child and man. It was obvious to anyone who had the opportunity to meet him, even briefly. I hope that you grow stronger every day and are left with only the happiest of memories.

Peter and I are so sorry for your loss; to lose a child is a pain of terrible intensity and we are thinking of you and the suffering that you are going through. Ros often told us what a delightful young man Tyler was and it seems so sad that as Stella grows up she will not now get to know her big brother, but you will have stories to tell and experiences to share and in that way and many others Tyler's memory will remain.
