Obituary of Ruth E. Mucha

Ruth E. (Davis) Mucha, age 90, of Lafayette Hill, PA died Sunday, January 1, 2017 at The Masonic Village . Ruth E. was born June 10, 1926 in Collingswood, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Edwin and the late Emily (Schaefer) Davis. She was the wife of the late John Mucha who passed in September of2001. She was a retired Banking Manager and most recently she was a Book Keeper for William Jeanes Library in Lafayette Hill. Ruth was a graduate of Germantown High School. She was an active member of Saint Peter's Lutheran Church in Lafayette Hill. At the church she was an usher , a memebr of their Community Elders , a volunteer for their annual Boar's Head Festival and was a former choir member too. Ruth was a member of the Whitemarsh Lioness Club , The Whitemarsh Questers and Saint Philip's Phillipians. She was also the treasurer for most of those clubs mentioned. She will be sorely missed by her devoted family and many friends. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Newcomb (Tim) and son John Mucha (Doris). Also her 5 grandchildren-Madeleine , Lydia , Evan , Geoffrey and Olivia and her great granddaughter-Chloe. Sister of Donald Davis The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, January 5 at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA. 19444. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 5 from 10-11am at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be made to the above church. . Ruth E.
