Catherine Elizabeth Nix Funk, 92, of Hatboro, PA passed away on Wednesday March 22nd 2017 in Luther Park Assisted Living.
A private graveside service will be held .
Catherine was born in College Point, N.Y. to Anna and Frank Nix on January 1st 1925. She worked as a registered nurse for many years. She enjoyed traveling, vacationing in the mountains, and reading. She was an excellent seamstress and sewed dresses for her children when they were younger. She loved to celebrate the holidays and made them special for her family and she was an animal lover.
Catherine is survived by her three daughters. Ella Louise Cleveland and her husband David, Althea Susan Zanecosky and her husband Gregory, and Catherine Anne Hesson and her husband Thomas. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Claire, Katherine, Mary, Rebecca, and John, and her great- grandchildren Sophia and Cassie. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Howard Edward Funk.
