Obituary of Louis S. Henderson Jr.

Louis S. Henderson Jr., age 89 of Lafayette Hill PA, died Sunday (3/6) in the Chestnut Hill Hospital. He was a Retired Engineer And Vice President For Pringle Electric Co. Of Ft. Washington,Pa. Mr. Henderson Jr. was born in Phila., PA, the son of the late Louis S. and the late DOROTHY Zurn Henderson. Mr. Henderson was a long time resident of Lafayette and most recently resided at The Hill at Whitemarsh. He was a graduate of Germantown Accademy, Germantown H.S. and attended Drexel Univ. He was an active member of the Saint Jude and the Nativity Church in Lafayette Hill and had served his church on theirVestry. He also was a member of a local bowling league. Mr. Henderson served our country during WW 2 AS A 2ND Leiutenant in the US Army Aircorps and had over 24 missions in the Pacific Theator. Mr. Henderson was also active in the #494 Bomber Division Veterans Group. He is survived by his wife of over 60yrs. Muriel (Grubmeyer ) Henderson two sons: William S. Henderson (Georgiann) of Ballston Spa, NY, Louis S. Henderson III (Janet) of Newtown Sq.Pa. *5 grandchildren-Andrew, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Timothy, Lisa Friends may call Thursday 3/10 from 9-10AM at Saint Jude And The Nativity Church, 203 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 am Burial will be in the Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Horsham.
