Obituary of John C. Williams Jr.

John C."Jack" Williams Jr., age 85 of Lafayette Hill PA, died suddenly Friday (4/29) at his residence in Lafayette Hill, PA. He was a retired Engineering Consultant and construction manager at the Montgomery County Community College. He also was the former Vice President and General manager of Weighing and Controls and former Executive V.P. of STV,inc. and was founder of Peripheral Systems Inc. Mr. Williams Jr. was born in Pen Argyl, PA, the son of the late J.Calvin and the late Mildred Bonney Williams Sr . Jack was a resident of Lafayette Hill for over 50yrs. He was a member of the Plymouth Meeting Evangelical Church and was a former founder of the Boy Scout Troop that was based from his church . He was a graduate of the Univ. of Va. , Lafayette College and recieved his Master degree in Civil Engineering at Lehigh Univ. Jack served our country during WW2 in the US Navy retiring as a Lieutenant J.G. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Chi Fraternities, Numerous Engineering societies and numerous Information Managements Associations and thru his career held several Centrifugal Pump patents. He is survived by his wife Cora (Moose ) Williams one daughter: Judi DeAngelis of Skippack, PA one son: J.Scot Williams (Linda) of Exeter, PA 2 Grandchildren-Krysta And J.Dustin, 1 Great Grandaughter-Adelaide, *predeceased by his loving daughter Alona Mae Williams and a brother Richard. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:30-11am at Lownes Funeral Home, 659 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA.. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Burial will be held privately in the George Washington Memorial Park, .
