So many ppl have years more memories with you than I do and I'm just one of your friends' wives but those who know me know I am sentimental and time means nothing to me in relationships. I met you and you became a good friend. I esp felt close to you bc I saw the way you made my husband laugh and seem so happy in the innocent way you wish to see ppl you love always... naturally you were that kind of friend I wanted around. This goes to show how many ppl your sweet life impacted... far more than you could imagine. You made this transplant new to a group of solid high school pals feel like I belonged just by a simple reassuring flash of that solid, handsome smirk of yours and offering solid conversation. we had the best random talks and you will always be a part of the memories I cherish from the start of Steve and I's relationship. you called me one random day when I was walking after work to see if we wanted to hang out but I always remember how it brightened an otherwise dull day. You thought of me in a moment I needed to hear from a friend... I, like so many others I know, wish so badly I could have known a way to do the same for you these last few years. You deserved so much more. You left a bag of King Arthur flour at Steve's and to this day I never buy anything else. You made us the most delicious food and one of the most endearing things I came to know about you was that you were that friend who loved to crash and keep talking all night long... even when my mom was in town from Michigan and we all had a sleepover and of course you stayed for breakfast! you will always be one of our favorite friends Jeff, and I know we are amongst a long list of ppl who feel that way. Thank you for sharing your life with us. You will always live on in the Tran family and oh how I hope you found the peace you deserve you wonderful, special man. Jeff - I love you and will miss you every day. You taught me 6 years ago that anyone over the age of 30 should NOT say “ghosting”. That was a hilarious conversation. You shared clove cigarettes. That was one of the best nights before you left with your Mom for Hawaii!!
You were the trailblazer for Kelly’s 4 kids. They love you as much as you adored them. Keep a watch over them.
You were one of the most brilliant minds I’ve ever known. You got that from your Mom. The real trailblazer. Please send her constant signs. She will need them.
Kaelin and Connor adored you as their “older” brother. Send them signs too.
