The BNY Mellon Trading Team would like to send our condolences for your loss of Victor.
Victor was kind, cheerful, and his smile was contagious and would brighten up our workday.
He was a great co-worker, and we will all treasure our good times with him.
Victor would always be attending our team parties for special occasions.
We will distinctly remember our many Award Ceremonies, Holiday Parties, and year end celebration.

Victor was one of the nicest guys I knew from freshman year at Spellman Hall. We occasionally played tennis together among other classmate activities. Victor always had a kind word to say and was well liked. My heartfelt condolences to your family.

My condolences to the Mendoza family. Both you and Victor are in my prayers. I graduated with Victor from The Prep. He truly was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Victor wore a permanent smile and never utter a bad word about anyone. He was always jovial and made you feel like you made his day whenever he saw you. Victor was an individual of the highest quality and his passing will be a loss to us all. I am saddened to know I will never see him again. Rest in peace my friend!

Victor was one of the nicest people you could ever meet, he was quick with a smile and even quicker with a witty remark but most important he was a good friend who you could always count on. His stories of the "family gatherings" as he called them, whether it was the themed golf outings, to the family dinners, but one story Victor always talked about was during a family dinner, the "serious uncle," as Victor would call him was leading the family in prayer. During this prayer, his Uncle mentioned that "the Lord said to love your enemies," to which the "jokester Uncle" replied, "I love you too, Loy." No matter how many times Victor told this story, we would laugh as if it was the first time he told it.
When Victor was living in New York in the 1990's, right before moving back to Philly for good, he and I went to a hockey game on Long Island, it was a New York Islanders game against the Calgary Flames. When the game ended and we were filing out, two fans began to fight in the concourse, when Victor yells out, "Can't we all get along.....the Rangers stink!" and right after he said it, chants started of "Last place Rangers," which echoed throughout the concourse and all was well in the world.
I will cherish the time we had together as friends but I will also miss him dearly. May Gold bless Victor but most important may the Good Lord also give his dad and his sister strength during this tough time.

The very 1st time I met Victor he was wearing his Flyers jersey in his ‘favorite seat’ at Rock Bottom brewery. His smile, kindness, and sports passion were immediately evident. As time went on his intelligence, and wit were felt by all who knew him. Victor was the kind of person that immediately made those around him feel so much better - a special gift indeed!
We will miss u greatly, buddy. RIP.

It is quite difficult to imagine that I will not be seeing your nice smile at the next Bontuyan family gathering in Graceland (Bontuyan-Maniago home) in MD. You were always so full of bubbly energy and great enthusiasm that it’s hard to accept that you are gone. Rest easy Vic and enjoy following your favorite sports teams up there.
